sorry, sgould have said, i have tried that with the error:
Failed to fetch https://download.docker.com/linux/debian/dists/jessie/InRelease Unable to find expected entry ‘stable/binary-i386/Packages’ in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)
when trying to install docker
I’m confused. Why would you want to install raspian on a laptop? Unless you have a laptop with an arm architecture?
Why not install plain old Ubuntu or similar then install docker then install the containers that you’re after.
Bonus question: why do you want to install hass.io? Is the standard ha container not giving you what you want? It feels like you’re over complicating things
i already run Home assistant on a linux laptop.
i have a very old laptop that i am using as a pi emulator, i wanted to try hassio to as an experiemnt.
the laptop is no powerful enough for ubuntu
