Hi,
Trying to use Textastic for editing hassio files, but cant get it to work?
Hassio, raspberry pi 3 b+, have ssh enabled
So use the IP address instead… some networks don’t support hassio.local
thanks, have tried but don’t work either
Are you using the community ssh addon?
Get rid of the port number on the host. SSH is port 22 by default and the application knows that. I think you just want the host to say:
hassio.local
-Rob
Rob is right. It’s not port 8123 - no port needed
How would I accomplish this remotely? I want to setup with textastic also, but to access remotely when I’m not at home. I’ve tried both the password and the public/private key methods and I’ve had no luck in both cases. If it makes a difference, I’m using Nabu.casa for remote access. Any help is appreciated!
Does anyone know if it’s possible to set this up on Textastic or other iPad editor with remote access? @DavidFW1960? @pickerin? @edtwodth?
