This is probably a rather strange setup however is proving to be quite effective.
I’m currently running two Rasperry pi 4, one is a main primary install and the other is a redundant system that’s used a backup or testing platform. I had a rsync script that moves backups from the main install to the backup. This way if I’m ever out of town I have a completely redundant system to run my automations etc.
This is proving to be effective however running the exact same install seems to be creating issues with some of my integrations. Some only accept a singular connection and if the backup install reboots this seems to steal the connection from the main install.
Albeit a rather different application is there any way to shut down the home assistant element of the docker container keeping all other containers running? I need the samba share running for the backups and vpn available should the other system malfunction?
