However, after 20 minutes, the page redirected reloaded, but it timed out. Since then I’ve only managed to get it to load once (after a reboot), and then it still showed the preparation page.
It’s running on WiFi only, as I don’t have access to an Ethernet jack.
That’s a good question - I didn’t know about that!
I flashed it and tried to install now, but encounter an error: About half a second after the “hassio login:” prompt comes up, I get several warnings about ports entering blocking, disabled, promiscuous and forwarding modes, like this:
“docker0: port 1(veth96e196b) entered blocking state”
“hassio: port 1(veth4e93b03) entered blocking state”
Also, I get a couple errors like this:
“ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): veth4e93b03: link is not ready”
No idea. I installed HassOS on a fresh SD-Card with no issues…
Did you let it run for 20-30 minutes? Maybe those errors are not fatal and are expected when installing?
Using a second pi3 B so as not to ruin my current install.
I got to the preparing hassio page at http://Pi’s IP:8123 then left for about 2 hours.
Now get this page cannot be reached error.
32gb SD card flashed with etcher pi running with genuine power supply. I had no issue with my older hassio install although don’t remember how long it took.
Any ideas?
Will probably do a restart in the morning and reflash tomorrow night if it won’t work.
