Yesterday I updated my hassio then left it over night. When I came back to it was not on and could not boot.
Did you have Samba set up?
Whats that?
If you set up Samba Share you can access your config files through network drives instead of having to go to the GUI.
Also from experience and many mistakes you’re going to want set up automatic backups to Dropbox. That way you can always just revert.
Anyways if you don’t have Samba Share or backups you might be SOL.
I downloaded a new hassio instance and it still won’t boot there must be something wrong with it for me at least.
Ok if it’s a fresh Hassio install that’s more a problem…
- What won’t boot? Does it say “Hassio can’t load data” or “Page not found”
- are you running RPI? Is the light flashing or is it steady red?
- Is the RPI showing up as a connected device on your routers home page?
How are you trying to access it? What do you mean it won’t boot?
On my pi the green light won’t come on and the Ethernet lights don’t come on.
Have you tried a different power supply?
Yes but it worked before the update. maybe they took out raspi 2
Yes you did try one or no you don’t think you need to?
I tried one
Not aware of any issues with Pi2. Could be the SD-Card? The Pi could be faulty too. Do you have another SD-Card with say Raspbian on it?
i was able to run Raspbian on it with the same sd card.
it has a some random lines that repeat
Random lines that repeat on your boot screen?? What do you see at http://hassio.local:8123?
Screenshot?
You should check your routers homepage, it could be a network issue if your RPI isn’t showing up there.
The lines are when i connect a tv to the pi.
It won’t load it
Hi, I’m having this prob after running the auto update, I have samba and i can access my files. how do i troubleshoot and fix the ui access from here?
