It has been working for almost one year until I “click the update buttons” this week. It includes updating the core version, supervisor version, node-red, Samba, VS Code, check-config.
I also have the custom components: HACS, Circadian Lighting, the Lutron ones. But they are unlikely to be the cause.
Issue:
After “automation → call service: homeassistant.restart”
Can NOT access the dashboard e.g. http://192.168.1.6:8123/hassio/dashboard , and also my HA app, in iOS, won’t connect.
And I tried turn off and on the power every morning, that fix it, which is NOT ideal, as you can imagine.
I wish:
After automation → call service: homeassistant.restart → it will be acccessble through the url, as well as the app.
Hardware:
Wired-internet cable
Rasberry PI
System versions:
core-2021.8.4
supervisor-2021.06.8
Operating System-Home Assistant OS 6.2
Context:
Due to some routine,
my HA, resides in the Rasberry PI, restarts nightly via “automation → call service: homeassistant.restart”.
It has been working for almost one year until I click the update buttons.
It acts up again today,
after upgrading to the “core-2021.9.6”.
Lots of repetitive errors, plus the RAM Usage is through the roof, and then after a while, it stops responding (then I have to restart every day or so).
