Updated to 0.88 and noticed that HassOS has gone back to 1.13 instead of 2.8 and the upgrade option had come back again. Anyone else noticed this or know why?
I upgraded today but HassOS is still at 2.8
Thanks for confirming this. It is really strange. It was definitely 2.8 before the upgrade as I was checking the page wondering why 2.9 wasn’t available.
Interesting… I didn’t know there was a 2.9 or even 2.10 out. If I query via the cli, 2.10 shows up as the latest release, but I don’t see the option to update to it. Restarting now to see if that changes things.
Just done the update again on HassOS and it upgraded to 2.10. Then upgraded Hassio to 0.88 and HassOS stayed on 2.10. I had to manually power off/on following the 0.88 upgrade as my pi failed to automatically restart. Why does it do that sometimes?
Mine hung during the HA upgrade as well, but it stayed at .88. I’ll try updating HassOS first this time.
I cannot boot on HassOs other than 1.13.
I try to update from UI. I try to make a new SD card with 2.7, 2.8 and new 2.10 but I got a boot loop. I plug an HDMI and I got this on boot.
Anybody else has this problem? I have tried other SD cards too, but same thing
What size SD card are you running? Assuming this is for a RaspberryPi 3? You should grab the 32bit image.
Rpi 3 b, 16gb SD card. 32 bit image. I will try the 64 image now.
No, 32bit image is the right answer. The recommendation is for 32GB or larger.
Many people have had good reliability with the Samsung EVO line of cards. Budget cards will cause problems down the road.
With the same card I can boot with HassOs 1.13 or 2.8 on a rpi zero w.
From 1.13 if I update I have the same boot loop.
That’s crazy
