Hi all,
I have spent hours researching looking through forums and other posts for a possible solution to a problem I’m having. I’m unable to smoothly transition from my old rpi3 to a vm from a networking perspective. I have been able to run a clean install and get hassos running without an issue allowing the vm to grab an ip from my dhcp server after restoring my image from a recent back up. The problem I’m having is when I try to issue a static ip from my dhcp server, the boot delays with a message sayin wait until kernel time synchronized
If I wait long enough I can get the cli to come up and actually boot the hassos gui but when I go into the gui I noticed the system can not reach the internet. With all this said, my previous system on the rpi3 was configured with the ip 192.168.1.5. I have shutdown that system and removed the old reservation to make room for the new system with new MAC address. From a network configuration standpoint outside of hassos I’m not sure there could be more done. I will say I’m no well versed in docker and have seen mentions of potential dns or nat issues within the image itself but again I wouldn’t be sure on how to address that.
Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve?
Ps. Please excuse typo as I’m posting from my phone
