In Filter Offset based on slider or value input I asked help on how to make the Offset value adjustable, so we don’t have to recompile and reprogram our ESP32’s when values have to be changes (i.e. drift compensation).
The conclusion was that Offset can not be used in conjunction with templates, variables or any other way but static values.
Maybe this also goes for other sensor filters, in which case and if possible, please make these filters adjustable with dynamic values.
