I used Mark Watt Techs guide to flash the USB stick, but haven’t done anything else with it.
The more I look at things, there is something going on with my Yale lock.
The motion sensor that is further away from the coordinator than the lock is working fine.
Loses connection every once in a while, but works the majority of the time.
I need to get some smart plugs I guess and start expanding my Zigbee mesh.
I took a quick look at his video and that should be the same process. I have a zzh stick but it’s based on the same cc2652 chip the sonoff is. I used the ti flashing software on a windows machine and not the python script.
The one difference is i would download the latest firmware from the link in the documentation right on the zigbee2mqtt website, just scroll down to the sonoff and click the link (make sure to pick sonoff -p variant). Make sure you download coordinator firmware (NOT router)
It looks like it was posted in April (version 20220219). If that’s the one you already used probably not worth updating. Be careful because if the process goes wrong or you flash the wrong firmware you could end up needing an external debugger to fix it, which looks involved
