Hello all !
I am using FHEM since many years and recently found out about HA. I like it and I like the frontend as well as the capabilities. Testing and playing around leads me to the idea not to use HA as FrontEnd only but also move the automation I’ve integrated in FHEM to HA. I do not see any issues except Homematic. Having installed Jens HA-Integration of RaspberryMatic I was quite confident I can make it… However ! There is an issue I could not figure put yet:
I have a LAN Gateway HM-LGW-O-TW-W-EU, 7 HM-TC-IT-WM-W-EU, 14 HM-CC-RT-DN and a 5+ HM-LC-SW1-FM. FHEM provides a module called HCS (FHEM reference) which monitors the position valve of all connected HM-CC-RT-DN and indicates “heating demand” in case the valve of one or more HM-CC-RT-DN open more than a defined threshold in % and indicates no more “heating demand” when all valves are below another threshold in % (HM-CC-RT-DN open and close their valves automatically dependent on the target-temperature and actual temperature). In case heating demand is given I notify the central heating unit (closing a contact in the central heating unit - like a central thermostate does) to provide heat.
This HCS-module is a central integration of my FHEM-installation (as mentioned earlier: tuning on/of lights resp. dimming them to a certain level is not the issue for me in HA) and the absence of an equivalent or similar module in HA would be THE showstopper to migrate the automation from FHEM to HA as I prefer to have the logic in one place.
Anyone here who has experience and can point me the the right place of information ?
Thank you in advance
