Heating setup from scratch

Hi,

Currently I am looking for a heating solution compatible with home assistant. There are a lot of products on the market and I don’t understand which are reliable and comfortable in usage. So I’m asking for your advise.

This is a setup for flat.
I will have three electrical floor heating zones.
Gas boliler BOSCH WBN 6000-24C RN compatible with opentherm protocol is already installed.
Also there are five radiators connected to the boiler.

I want to achieve centralized solution to control temperature in all my rooms.
In my plans is to develop opentherm master for a boiler which will take into account floors, valves and outside temperatures to select optimal boiler mode.

If you know proprietary solution it would be perfect.

I took a look at Danfoss Link but it is very closed system. And there is no way I can integrate it somewhere else.

I am using Plugwise Adam which has an integration in HA. Plugwise offers room thermostats, valves for your radiators and switches for floor heating.
Works like a charm.

Thanks for your reply.

I will take a look at this solution.

As I see they don’t have solutions for electric unberfloor heating systems, only for water systems.

They do have electrical switches I think you can use for the electrical heating together with the Lisa room thermostat, but I’m not sure.

Do you use Smile or just Adam? Description of integration is confusing.

This enables Plugwise components with a central Smile gateway to be integrated. This integration talks locally to your Smile interface

I use the Adam and a couple of Lisa’s and Toms. I believe the Smile isn’t supported by Plugwise anymore.

If your radiators thermostat are in every room you could use Danfoss ally Zigbee Thermostats, but that of course depends on if you have a Zigbee network (or want one) I use them and they work really well

Thanks for your reply. I will take a look.
