Heatmiser Neohub on HA installed on Synology Container

Hi there,

Newbie here. I’m attempting to get the Heatmiser integration work on my HA installation on my Synology NAS using a container.

I’ve manually installed the code in the custom integrations, and I can find Heatmiser Climate in my integrations lists on HA; however, when I get to this stage:

Clicking “Submit” does nothing - the window briefly flashes off and then back up so I just have to cancel it.

I’ve added the heatmiser to my Configurations.yaml file with the correct IP address and added my two thermostats:

climate:

  • platform: heatmiser
    host: 192.168.1.10
    port: 4242
    tstats:
    • id: 1
      name: Study
    • id: 2
      name: Kitchen

Can anyone help me figure out how to proceed? Is it an issue with the configuration of the container (eg I need in some way to ensure that it has access to the 192.168.1.10 IP address), or is it something else?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Ok - fixed it myself. You just need to change “Neo-Hub” in the Host box to the IP address of your hub and then it’s all good to go.

thanks for explaining the answer, because I’ve been having the same issue.

  • I’ve seen threads before where the OP says they’ve fixed it and doesn’t explain how
