I am using the Heatpump IR module to control a Daikin air conditioner that allows the setting of the target temperature in half degree (C) intervals. I have included the temperature_step: target_temperature: 0.5. However when I adjust the target temperature in the Home Assistant GUI, it initially shows the change to the half degree increment and the air conditioner beeps confirming the receipt. Then immediately after this a second message is sent showing only the next integer value and the air conditioner beeps confirming receipt.
I am using the Thermostat Card in Home Assistant.
I know that some Daikin air conditioners can only set the target temperature with an integer value.
