I just added my 2 smoke alarms from Heiman into zigbee2mqtt. I see in the zigbee2mqtt logs that it advertises battery_low, smoke, lqi and battery level. But just the first 3 gets added in mqtt. How can I add the battery level to mqtt. I use the mqtt and zigbee2mqtt addons in Home Assistant
Nope still gives 100% battery doesn’t work correctly. I will just rely on the beeps when it happens to run out of battery.
Ok, thats unfortunate. Im doing the same now, but its not ideal, as this is triggering my automation to.
I have them for 2 years now. If one of them start to fail I will check if HA gives some kind of state. I will message you with the state so you can use it in your automation
