Help Adding Integrating Single Dual Dimmer Light Switch into Home Assistant

I am looking for advice on how to integrate the last set of lights in my house into Home Assistant. It’s a single switch that controls two sets of dimmable lights: six recessed lights and a small chandelier. Specifically, I have a two gang box with two switches, on the right is a single switch that controls two sets of dimmable lights which I am trying to upgrade. See image below.

I’ve been unable to find a single smart switch that can control two separate dimmable lights. I’ve considered using two Shelly Dimmer2s, but am concerned about available space in the electrical box. Aside from expanding to a three-gang box (which I’d rather avoid), are there any other options?

I primarily use Hue, Inovelli, and Aqara devices, and I’d prefer not to introduce another hub if possible. I prefer Zigbee, but I’m open to Wi-Fi or Thread devices. (Although I’ve found a few Z-Wave switches, unfortunately Z-Wave options are off the table as I don’t have a Z-Wave network).

I prefer not to replace all the lights controlled by this switch with Hue bulbs—it’d cost around $550 for the six recessed lights and chandelier. My goal is to upgrade the switch itself, not the bulbs. I’m also not overly concerned about the smoothness of the dimmer. My main goal, for smart lights in general, and specifically for this switch, is to minimize the need for manual operation with automations and presence detection. I already have extra presence sensors and PIR sensors available that I would install in the room for automation purposes.

Does anyone have any recommendations or advice on how to handle this last switch?

Is there enough space behind to squeeze in 2 shelly dimmers for the dual dimmer on the right? Like around 50mm depth at least

There’s also this switch, which could just be using tuya integration and can be flashed with esphome

Thanks, I took the current switches out and think it will be VERY tight if possible at all.

I also further looked at the Shelly DImmer2 and I’m not sure it would even permit for using the physical dimmer, it appears its intended to be added a “on/off” switch and controlling dimming via the shelly device itself…

I also saw that amazon switch but am really hesitant to adding a totally unknown brand devices if at all possible… I’m surprised that no one else is making something similar!

At this point I’m thinking maybe I replace it with a single smart dimmer switch (i have a few Lutron diva’s available) for the chandelier and then replace the down lights with hues that are controlled with a wireless remote…

You’ll need to use retractive switches for dimming control. Basically just long press to dim

It’s definitely using esp8266 from here. So you can flash tasmota or esphome on it for local control

Tuya does have some dual dimmer devices
