Help connecting Amazon's smart plugs

I recently picked up a few of these smart plugs by Amazon to voice control some plug sockets I have in my house.

I’m having trouble getting them connected to my Hassio setup and can’t find any other threads on them. Although the search results are full of Amazon links to other products which makes things a little more difficult.

They seem to be made by LITE-ON for Amazon and all of the setup and discovery is done through the Alexa app.

I’m pretty new to this all so any help would be appreciated.

There is currently no component/platform for amazon smart plugs AFAIK

I just got the US variant, and HA does not see it at all, but my Linksys Smart Router component inside of HA shows it, so its somewhat exposed

Has anyone made any progress on the smart plugs?
