I noticed none of my automations were running this morning, and I was unable to connect in my browser or using the app, so I rebooted. A little while later I noticed things still weren’t running, so I checked the pihole logs and it looks like it’s stuck in a loop during the reboot.
Looking at the device I can see network activity and about every 45 seconds or so the light on the z-wave dongle starts blinking yellow. That continues for about 20-30 seconds then it turns green. Then about 45 seconds later it starts blinking yellow again repeating the sequence.
When I try to SSH into the server I get the message “Can’t connect to host port 22 : Connection Refused”.
I’ve tried unplugging the z-wave dongle and zigbee dongle and rebooting and the logs on my pihole show it’s still looping. Any suggestions on what I should try next or how I can gain access via ssh?
The TV’s are all mounted to the wall and not really close to the Raspberry. I could unmount the Raspberry pi but I don’t see any outputs that match the HDMI. All of the other inputs to the TV are inaccessible because they are mounted to the wall.
Isn’t the Pi mini-HDMI? You really can’t expect anyone to solve this if you don’t provide more information. My guess is a faulty SD card but again it’s pure guessing since you (and we) don’t know what the errors actually are.
I found a way to connect it to the TV, and it’s definitely looping. It’s hard to read as it scrolls by pretty quickly, the last thing I can read before it reboots is something about the docker container.
