so i decided it was time to update my HA which i havent done since Feb23 and i kind of knew it was going t go badly and it did. i did make a full backup before i started, wisely.
After the update I can’t access the HassOS gui (ie http://homeassistant.local:8123 ) after updating to the latest HassOS version. I have no access via a browser or via the iOS app. i have rebooted it several times. I get the error messages (on my desktop browser): “website cant be reached" i can ping HA, i can Telnet to HA and log in to root but from there im stumped!
I tell you its hard when none of your home automations that you take for granted no longer work, the wifes giving me a right ear bashing.
Im hoping its something simple to fix, im no expert on Linux commands but i can get around let me know what info i need to give and ill get it over straight away.
Have you tried to access from a wired device(PC/Laptop with TP-cable), or only via WIFI ?
I also notice your HA-Instance have 2 IPv6 addresses, so it seems like you have IPv6 enabled in your Router, if you absolute have no reason to use IPv6 in your internal network, i suggest you disable it in your Router, … IF any of you devices have reasons to, and capable of “talking” to each over IPv6 they will assign an address them self(if they are smart enough), but internally not many average local network can’t benefit much for also have this enabled to interfere
