Help me connect my end devices to ZHA via routers instead of via the coordinator

Hi, I’m pretty new to home automation, so please be patient.
My setup is this: home assistant as a VM on a Proxmox VE node. ZHA as a zigbee gateway using a Sonoff ZBDongle-E USB antenna as coordinator. I added 6 Sonoff temperature and humidity sensors but thick brick walls are causing issues, so I bought two additional Sonoff ZBDongle-E and flashed the zigbee router firmware on them. Then I added them to ZHA. So now I have a 9 devices on ZHA: 3 ZBDongle-E’s and 6 sensors. I waited a while but the sensors are all still connected to the coordinator. None of them has switched to connecting to one of the two routers.
Can you please help me find out why?
For example, my kitchen sensor is connected via the coordinator even if a router is nearer.
Looking for ways to connect it via the kitchen router, I found this:

The ‘bindable devices’ dropdown menu only lists the coordinator, whereas perhaps I’m supposed to see the two routers as well? If so, why don’t I see them listed? And what are bindable groups?

Thank you.

How long is “a while”?

Have you tried re-interviewing the end device in their final location?

Thank you @tom_l , after a good old reboot of the VM, now this is the ZHA visualization:

Now I have one more question: why is the blue line between coordinator and router living (living room router) dotted? What does it mean?

I find they will connect to what they want to connect to. Even of you force them. They are like people, some don’t care who they talk to, some only will talk to the boss…
