For some resaon all my ESP devices has started giving me this error-code in the log (and briefly disconnecting and reconnecting)
> WARNING watermeter.local: Connection error occurred: [Errno 104] Connection reset by peer
> INFO Processing unexpected disconnect from ESPHome API for watermeter.local
> WARNING Disconnected from API
> INFO Successfully connected to watermeter.local
Noticed the exact same issue today. For me it was 100% network related. My dhcp lease time was set to 1 min interval. Increasing the lease time resolved the issue. Assuming it disconnects from network to renew ip.
TY!… that made it for me. … my router is rather old and acting up. could not change lease-time … fetched a new one, set it up and everything is now working properly
I found that the lease-time in my dchp was set to one minute or something like that - i just set it to 24 hrs, and the problem was gone. … i have no idea why/how it was changed, but the dchp server was rather old and started acting up, so i swapped it.
Oh, thank you, @Icarus81 , my DHCP is set to 1 day, too (anyway my router does not allow me to change this).
I have 5 LD2410C installed with ESPHome (4 being of the same model and flashing) and only 2 of them give me this problem. They never stop sending data, although there is no presence or movement in the rooms.
