I’m running into a frustrating issue with my Home Assistant setup and need some help.
Setup
- Home Assistant Operating System 12.4
- Home Assistant core 2024.7.4
- VirtualBox 7.0.16
- Host OS: Linux Mint 22 Wilma
Problem
The system runs fine, but whenever I try to upgrade the Home Assistant Operating System, the process gets stuck. This not only freezes Home Assistant but also causes VirtualBox to freeze, leaving me with no option but to kill the VirtualBox process.
Investigating the problem, I try executing the command core stop. It results in the same issue: HAOS and VirtualBox both freeze, requiring me to kill the process.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
