I recently replaced on of my August locks with a August WiFi Smart Lock. It shows up in the August integration but that relies on the cloud and I would prefer local control. So I have been trying to get it to show up in HA for use in either the HomeKit or the Yale Bluetooth integrations. But for some reason HA never sees it.
I have a few Shelly devices that are near it so I enabled the Bluetooth gateway on the Shelly and then enabled Active scanning in HA. I setup another Shelly for Passive. Its been more than a day and still when I try and add the lock I just get a “No devices found on the network” message.
I tried using HomeKit since the lock has a HomeKit code but when I try and add a HomeKit device its not listed and there is no way to enter the IP of the lock.
Can anyone offer any help?
