Help setting HA Server to a static IP

This is kind of a combo HA and Omada question.

I have my HA server (Thin Client) hard wired to my Omada switch. The switch is part of the Omada SDN (I have an ER605 router and OC200 controller too) that I just set up this week.

I’m trying to set the HA server to a static IP on my secure VLAN (192.168.42.1).

In SDN, I found the HA server in my client list, enabled “fixed IP” and changed it to 192.168.42.10. I have power cycled everything multiple times last night and this morning, and that new IP is not taking effect.

It still lists the original IP in SDN and the original one also still opens up my HA server on my desktop.

Of note, no other device has that new static IP (192.168.42.10) and I have the VLAN’s DHCP range starting at 192.168.42.40 to accommodate static IPs.

Is there something I need to do in HA itself? I was always told to set static IPs on the server side, but maybe that’s wrong.

In Settings → System → Network:

you can also setup the network device:

maybe this helps.
