Hello All,
I’ve been struggling for a few days after a SSD failure on the Unraid server that runs my HAOS VM. Getting data off it, appdata for multiple dockers, etc. I’m in the home stretch I think and just need help getting to the backup files for Home Assistant.
I am using qcow2 disk image to run HAOS. Prior, that VM would not boot and I had some disk corruption issues. Now, I can finally get it to boot however some files for HA will not load correctly, and the web interface finally takes me to a location to start a new setup. It seems it can’t load the old one.
Searching here, I was able to find the location for the backups, which are in their default location and not saved off the VM. That was something i’m kicking myself for now…
I see several backup folders under /mnt/data/supervisor/backup.
I’m trying to figure out how I can get the files from the VM copied to either a FTP Server (not sftp) or to a NFS share. I’ve also tried to use WinSCP to connect from my Windows PC to the HA Vm, just not had luck there yet with my settings.
Any ideas how to get these files to my PC? Or maybe enable FTP on the HA system (Via CLI)
so I can connect to it? Thank you!
