I am fairly new to the home automation scenery, but slowly dipping my feet in.
I managed to get HA up and running (with highs and lots of lows) on a Synology Nas via Docker.
I am thinking of having a photovoltaic system installed and I would like to integrate the readings in HA dashboard.
I have searched and read lots of discussions but I got even more confused, so here’s the question:
what’s the hardware needed? Should I go for a Shelly EM module with dual clamp (one for production and one for consumption) or the sonoff basic+ PZEM-004T module (but as far as I understood I’d need two setups, plus I’d have to understand how to integrate both modules) ?
That’s all, hoping to head from someone who has either setup with pro/cons.
