Help with hardware already installed, greater manchester

This is a weird one I know.
I was away for 3 months, and my housemate - without asking me first - replaced all the light switches, put in an ikea blind etc, half-configured HA and then disappeared off to abroad just before I got back. And then died.
I got into HA OK, and it’s been working Well Enough for the last few weeks. This post was originally about a misbehaving light switch, but I got annoyed with myself and it, took it apart with a butter knife as I couldn’t find a screwdriver, and it’s working again. So:
I have no idea what any of these devices are (aside from the Ikea blind) or where he bought them, his girlfriend hasn’t found any sort of documentation for any of it amongst his stuff yet, and some stuff I know he didn’t get around to setting up. There’s what I looks like a camera over the front door, but I’ve no idea if it’s actually connected to anything. So - any tips on tracing all this and getting it properly set up, or would I be better off just ripping it all out?

Install Fing on your phone & let it find everything that has an IP address. Can you log into the HA instance after that?

Can’t do much with my phone, it’s pants, is there a windows equivalent? There’s a bunch of stuff in HA that I can’t identify from the names, and some of it I assume his girlfriend has taken, but I’ve found the front door camera at least, and it doesn’t seem to be configured yet. I guess I’ve got some reading and googling to do.

Log in to your router and, under DHCP, see what devices are connected. If it isn’t clear, then the process of elimination starts.
BTW, do you know anything about TCP/IP?

@random_c I’d suggest downloading Nmap, and using that to scan your network.

It will give you the IP & Mac addresses of the devices (same as your router will), but also other info that may help identifying what kit is connected.
