Help with rf blinds - RFXCOM

I have read a couple of different solutions to using different RF433 blinds but I’m not sure which will work for my specific blind. It looks like there is a solution for multicast and also another for more simple implementations of RF433. I’m wondering if anyone with experience could help me identify which case I am in.

AC123 is supported by the RFXCOM RFX433XL

Thank you for your help! I have been scouring the Internet for seller that ships to the USA but no luck yet. Do you happen to have any more info? I see the home assistant integration for this as well. Is this the only USB dongle compatible with the integration?

I am wondering now if the Broadlink RM4 pro could do the job. Not able to find someone who will ship to the US.

please contact ludwig at lohelectronics.se
They deliver to the USA

Note that the RFX433XL can control and receive many other devices for example the Dooya bi-directional motors and ambientweather.com FT007TH sensors.
For the full list see chapter 2.4 in the RFXtrx user guide available on the RFXCOM downloads page.

Thanks for your help! I was able to place an order.

I was able to buy the device and I have it now! The shade was detected and added as a device in home assistant and it even detects if the shade is up or down. But the commands sent don’t do anything. No up or down. Any advice?

It is one floor below the blinds but detected the device from that position.

Please check with RFXmngr.
Also check if the RF Output is set to +10dBm (or higher)

I was able to receive the commands in RFXmngr as well and also set the transmit level to the maximum. I was not able to understand sending a command. After saving these settings I tried in Home Assistant again and still no commands being received by the blinds.

Select the Blinds1 tab in RFXmngr.
Select T3 A-OK,AC114,AC123,Motolux
Select (do not enter values) C6 07 27 Unit Code 2
Select a command and push Transmit

Enter the HA code 09190303C60727010000 in Home Assistant to add this device.
Or enable the Blinds1234 protocol in the RFXCOM integration and enable Atomatic add.
You should receive the AC123 remote and a BlindsT3 device will be created…
Don’t forget to disable Automatic add!!!

for info, broadlink rm4pro and rm4 mini are working with dooya protocol, i learnt the rf commands for 3 courtains and use them in automations, they are 100% reliable and cheaper imho.
