I’m encountering a recurring issue with my Sonoff POWCT energy monitoring device, which is integrated into Home Assistant. Every night at exactly 11:00 PM, the device appears to reset its daily energy consumption data, even though my local time zone is correctly set to GMT+1.
Here’s a summary of my setup and what I’ve tried so far:
Device: Sonoff POWCT, connected to Home Assistant via eWeLink integration.
Issue: Daily energy usage data resets at 11:00 PM instead of midnight, causing an incorrect daily total.
Timezone: Home Assistant is correctly set to GMT+1, and I’ve also adjusted the timezone in the eWeLink app to match. Despite this, the device still resets at 11:00 PM.
What I’ve Tried:
- Verified the time zone settings in both Home Assistant and the eWeLink app.
- Updated the firmware on the Sonoff POWCT to the latest version available in eWeLink.
This unexpected reset is impacting my daily energy tracking, and I’m looking for suggestions on how to either prevent the reset at 11:00 PM or adjust it to properly reset at midnight.
