I’m looking for some assistance with the ‘mean_circular’ statistic, that I’m trying to use for wind_direction averaging.
I keep getting the error “The configured characteristic ‘mean_circular’ is not supported for the configured source sensor.”. I’ve tried to change the unit of measure for the source entity, but that doesn’t help (or I’m changing it to the wrong measurement class?).
I can’t seem to find any help or other users who have had a problem with this, so I assume I’m doing something silly. Any assistance/examples will be appreciated.
