Thanks for sharing this, my VM on VBox was crashing after every update attempt for zwave addon. Changing to USB 3 fix it.

For what it’s worth, I had similar symptoms (trying to update Z-Wave JS UI beyond 3.6.0 would crash the VM and I couldn’t update Home Assistant because Z-Wave JS UI 3.6.0 was incompatible with newer versions) – but I’m using a different controller (Zooz ZST10).

I updated my Zooz ZST10 to the latest firmware and set the VirtualBox USB controller to USB 3 and that has solved my issue as well.
