Helpers not creatable

Hey there,

so I have two instances of HA running, my productive system and a zigbee and cec gateway (newly set up).

If I got to settings ->helpers in my gateway, I get the pop up where I can choose the helpers. Clicking on one opens a dialog that lets me configure it.

Here is my problem:

If I do this on the productive system, I get the pop up, but I cannot click on the helpers to open the configuration dialog.

Maybe I misconfigured something?

Is your production system configured to use the default_config option or does it cherry-pick out of the many options represented by default_config?

I don’t use default_config because I don’t want ssdp and zeroconf to monitor and report devices it might find (or logbook, history, and updater). The consequences of this decision can be quite impactful. default_config is shorthand for a lot of other options. For example, if you overlook to include input_boolean, input_text, etc then the Helpers feature will be unusable.
