Hey Ada! Integration and PS eye camera for input, errors

I thought I would throw a post out there to see if anyone has got Hey Ada! working with a PlayStation eye camera mic and Hassio?

I have it plugged into my system and its recognized, but when I start Hey Ada, I get the error below:

ALSA lib pcm_dsnoop.c:638:(snd_pcm_dsnoop_open) unable to open slave
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1108:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
ALSA lib pcm.c:2565:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.rear
ALSA lib pcm.c:2565:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.center_lfe
ALSA lib pcm.c:2565:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.side
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1108:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave

This is a Hassio Nuc install with Ubuntu and vanilla docker. Nothing special. I am really hoping to be able to use this microphone with the add-on as it is far field and has a mic array, at an AMAZING price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This won’t be helpful, but I had the exact same issue, same camera, running hassio. At least some consistency! In the config section of Ada I didn’t manage to get the audio devices listed.

Well, that is a bummer. I was hoping someone would be able to help out.

I am facing the same error in log. Did you find any more information on this?

Unfortunately it has went without a response, both here and elsewhere. I haven’t dug into it further either.
