Hi All. I have a Hikvision NVR system with 4 cameras. I’ve set this up using the instructions here and have been receiving motion activations in HA which in-turn run my automations. Great! However, every time I reboot the NVR to keep it clean, when it comes back up, motions are triggered in Hikvision but HA no longer appears to receive them (nothing in logs). I then have to reboot my Pi and then notifications are received again. Wondering if anyone else has this issue and whether they have any workarounds or what I can do to capture possible errors in the background of why such notifications are no longer received? I use line crossings at night to switch on the outside lights.
I have a very similar issue.
In my case, I only send the notification about PIR and motion detection and randomly they stop to be updated in HomeAsisstant, some times while they are “clear” some times when they are on “detected”.
In my experience this seems to happen only if the camera are connected wireless.
HomeAssistant seems to ignore all suddenly the updated coming fro the camera.
Could be that the camera lose connectivity for few seconds and at the reconnect the new socket is ignored by Home assistant?
