History data not updating when fixing historical stats

When i first set up power usage monitoring using the Riemann sum integration i neglected to set the correct method for things like washing dryers. As such my recordings were quite incorrect.
I have now adjusted the sensors to use the correct method and all is good there.
Since the last update let us edit historical data I have been going through and adjusting the incorrect readings (plugs are still attached to the tuya app until i get around to setting up tasmota etc.

Now i have the data in the ‘energy’ dashboard starting to show up correctly:

(only the dryer numbers have been fixed so far, ignore the others for now)

But if i click the dryer to see the historical graph i get this:

The total power used has not been updated and when i go in to history and find sections that had incorrect readings they are still there:

Note the large jump on the 13th of April.
I thought there was a wrong entry that i missed but the energy dashboard for that day shows:

Is anyone able to point me to the right place to try and correct these numbers? Or am i better off just deleting all historic data and starting from now with the properly set up sensors?

Installation details:
Home Assistant container running in docker in a generic NUC
Plugs in question are all generic tuya smart plugs with energy monitoring

Thanks in advance for any help!

As far as I know, the developer tools / statistics correction only fixes long term statistics, not your database state entries.
