I often find myself editing the ‘hours to show’ value to look at an interesting part of a history graph. This is cumbersome. Also, it doesn’t allow looking at a specific period in the past - i.e 30 minutes from this morning.
It would be very useful to have two sliders underneath the axis, allowing the view duration and period-in-time to be adjusted dynamically. The same could also be applied to the Y axis.
For mobile app users, ‘pinch/drag’ functionally would be the most flexible solution.
The entity history view provides similar flexibility, but isn’t part of a dashboard layout.
