History graph ignores "name override"

I have 8 switches with entity_ids “switch.watering1”…“switch.watering8” and overridden names, and a history graph with all of them but only about half of graphs are labeled with the overridden names, the other half uses entity_id.

I restarted HA multiple times and once I saw all 8 labeled correctly but it went to the original behaviour after another restart.

How to fix that?

did you ever find a solution for this; i have the same behaviour. After changing the initial overridden name from DWH Active to Warm water the labels in the history graph did not change:
