History Save Config Feature

So i’m pretty green to HA still maybe this is already somewhere and I just haven’t seen it; However, It would be nice on the history page if you had a drop down of Saved settings, or even recent lookups. Say for instance you have a power graph, that is matched with a Air Conditioner, and a Temp sensor. It would be cool if you could save that setup and just be able to pull it back up instantly. You could have 10 graphs up and save to some name.

I think this would be nice to not have to relook up entities or devices for some of your favorite / common history views.

You can’t do this with the OOTB history panel but you can make your own dashboard(s) showing history for the entities of your choice. Just add a history graph card

Thanks Mike

Of course it is possible to make a dashboard with history graph cards. But if you are in the process of making a compilation, it would be really easy and time saving to save it. As suggested, as a selectable settings list or “save as dashboard” and a new dashboard is created automatically.
For me, a very much missed feature.

ops, thanks  done!!

I’d love this too! I have a number of sensors where I’m interested in different time spans, and history makes that easy whereas dashboards don’t. For instance, I might look at living room temperature and A/C power today, then suddenly be interested in the last 5 days. A dashboard view could only easily show one or the other whereas in the history view it’s a quick switch.

I’ve seen suggestions to do it by saving bookmarks in a browser, but that doesn’t cover the typical case that I’m on my phone using the app, and don’t have easy browser access.
