With the big push to move back to the UI (e.g. Automations migration and using the repairs function), it sure would be great of we could setup History Stats in the UI vs. it being a YAML only thing at present.

What a pity not much more users voted for this until now. History is important and a potential solution to several problems - not being able to fully use this from the UI (or at least give us a reload option at /developer-tools/yaml) is a real downer in 2024… -.-
Totally agree.
this definitely needs some UI, was looking for a condition in automations to check if a state had changed within the last x minutes and this seems to fit the bill. it’s a bit of setup to maintain stuff in the yaml and the UI and more of a pain to change things on the go if I have to edit on mobile when another great automation hits me.
It’s in the UI as a helper.
Settings → Devices & Services → helpers tab → + helper button. → history stats.
