History with mySQL

Having set up recorder with mySQL successfully I was wondering if history can be used with mySQL as well?
I don’t want to waste my RPi’s SD card and use an external mySQL DB instead.

https://home-assistant.io/components/history/ does not say anything about mySQL…

Both the history and the logbook depend on the recorder. So the history and the logbook are all saved in the same file or database, depending on how you have configured the recorder.
