I wounder if anyone his having this problem? I installed HIVE hub and thermostat system several months ago and all went well, integration with Home Assistant worked first time. It suddenly became an ‘unavailable’ entity a few days ago (around the time I undated to 4.13) and I just cant get it back!
I’ve remove the entry from my config file and re entered, checking config and re-starting every time but my HA just will not/cannot see the Hive integration at all. I’ve checked and changed and re-checked username and password but to no avail.
I’ve tried this several times and cannot get it to work.
I can easily instal the repository via HACS but when going to HA Integrations as advised, there is no Hive Integration to be found.to enable me to input my HIve username and password. So I enter these details directly into my configuration YAML but stil not working ie no HIve climate entity etc.
rename the resulting folder to hive (mv 2020.1_b25 hive)
restart HASS
Hass should now let you add the hive integration as normal
You will probably need to change automations and lovelace references as the custom component entity names are not the same as the Home Assistant Integration names
Note that you will not receive any updates to this component; I guess that when this custom_component goes to issue 2020.1 (or later) then things will spring back to life and you can re-install using HACS (and take advantage of automatic updates).
