Hi. I am puzzled and hoping someone can help. I am new to HA and got it up and running quick on a RaspberryPI without any issues. Hive integration via email password exposed the lights and thermostat and everything was fine. Moved the passwords to the secrets file and all was working fine. I could control everything. Then HA prompted for an update and the entities stopped working. Reboot etc. did not solve the problem.

I have since set up fresh HA on a Linux server and a Synology via Docker and they will not pick up the Hive controller. I have physically rebooted the hive controller and nadda.

Alexa controls them fine and the Hive system is fully functional.

This is driving me mad. Any ideas? TYIA

As mentioned in other threads, some have found installing Hive Custom Component via HACS solves the problem. Probably need to reboot HA after the install.

Yep thanks for the reply. Sorry for some reason I missed them in the search before posting. HACS has nailed it. Shame I didn’t read the forum first although I have plenty of experience installing HA now :wink:

To update, just for future reference. The Hive internal integration has now been updated and should work fine, with no need for the Hive Custom Component via HACS. Indeed for me, the Hive Custom Component via HACS no longer works.
