I have more than 50 HmIP devices in the Home Assistant but now I have the first HmIP-BS2 and it does not appear in the entity list. Everything works within RaspberryMatic and also the HmIP-BS2 appears in the XML-API device list but not in Home Assistant. I also tried some dummy programs like for the HMIP-WRC2 without success.
- Is the HmIP-BS2 not supported in the current version?
- Does anybody have it integrated in HA?
I saw a feature request in the GitHub for the HmIP-BS2 but only for the integration of Homematic-Cloud but nothing about the standard homematic integration.
You can switch to the new integration, available as a custom component. It does take a bit of work though to migrate, as some entities will have different names. But it’s worth the effort, as the new integration is A LOT better.

Thanks for the suggestion but adding your repository seems not to be possible and shows the error “GitHub - danielperna84/custom_homematic: Custom Home Assistant Component for HomeMatic is not a valid add-on repository”. I have the Versions “Home Assistant 2023.8.1”, “Supervisor 2023.08.1”, “Operating System 10.4” and “Frontend 20230802.0 - latest” running.
Is there anything else I need to consider?
I haven’t seen that error before. I suggest to follow these instructions: HomeAssistant Integration · jens-maus/RaspberryMatic Wiki · GitHub

Your new integration works well and it detects the HmIP-BS2. Thanks for the suggestion.
