I would like to control my HmIP-PS-2 plugs with Home Assistant. Unfortunately they do not show up in HA or can not be found.
I have a CCU3 running with the XML-API CCU addon (v2.3). I run HA core 2024.1.3 and OS 11.4.
Other homematic stuff like thermostat HmIP-WTH-2 or BidCos-RF shwitches work.
Can you give me some advice, how to fix this issus?
What integration are you using?
The “official” Homematic integration is really outdated and not that well maintained.
The Homematic_Local is the one to use.
If you are already using that and it can still not find the device then post on the GitHub page above.
DanielPerna84 is really active on the project and quick to make things work flawlessly.
If this is the “official” integration, I will have a look on Homematic_Local. I’ve seen this before, but I thought it only applies to issue, when you don’t have a CCU and want to emulate one in home assistant.
Thanks.
That is the official i yegration you have used and it should be avoided due to lack of updates with new devices.
The posts you might have seen about Homematic before have also included the Raspberrymatic addon, which is the one that emulate a CCU and since you already have such one, then you do not need that part.
