I am attempting to run a script on home assistant that will press and hold the “Right” button for my PS5. I have a PDP ir receiver that I currently have set up with harmony and I captured the IR command for the RIGHT button with my Broadlink which works fine, when I use HA to press the RIGHT button it does in fact move to the right.
However when I try to create a basic script that holds the RIGHT button it only initiates the RIGHT command once and does not hold it. I have tried increasing the hole time but nothing works it only presses the button and will not hold it.
