So I have big issue with Home Assistant app on Samsung S21 FE with Android 13. Every time I disconnect from my home network for a longer period (let’s say more that 5 hours), the Home Assistant app forgets all of it’s settings. When I’m coming back home, try to open it, there is black screen for a few seconds. After that welcome screen appears. Everytime I need to configure it again, what adds new entities to home assistant so it breaks my configuration. Is there any way to fix this?
Make sure to use the base URL when configuring is you copied and pasted your URL from a bookmark you must likely need to remove the dashboard path. You probably noticed the app not asking for device name upon login.
It is asking for a device name. It’s like I uninstall and reinstall app again, but I’m not doing it. Also when configuring I do not copy URL, it just searches for my server automatically.
weird next time you login go to Settings > Companion App > Troubleshooting > Show and share logs and look to see if there are any errors
The same happens here as well, just now when having no internet connection at all. Crashes, on restart asks again for devicename
Thats not bad in itself but then it forgets all sensorsI’ve enabled for home assistant to be used.
