You don’t need to restart. Once you save the name in app configuration the service name will update too.
Cool then tonight i will try and post back the results… hopefully it was something that simple.

I just updated wifes phone within the app, created a test flow in node red and updated the service name to the new name and it worked, thank you so much, now she can also get all the annoying texts…

I just went in and reset my phone, just to make sure it is working as it should. Please note that the naming is a bit off.
The sensors for battery etc. will be named sensor.(app name) while the device tracker is called device_tracker.(device name).
So even when setting the name in the app, it will not be used in the device tracker.
