Home Assistant App - Google: disallowed useragent

Hi all!

I am new to Home Assistant. So far, I managed to set it up on RasPi5, added a few Aqara temperature sensors, included my existing smart home equipment, set up dashboards as I need it, etc. Basic stuff

Also, I set up remote access via cloudflared (I do not have a public static IPv4, therefore no VPN solution possible). I included Google authentication for my tunnel. This is now working fine in the following scenarios:

  • Laptop in wifi other than my home wifi via Chrome: direct access to ha.mydomain.com
  • Mobile phone (wifi & mobile internet) via Chrome browser: direct access to ha.mydomain.com

It does not work, when trying to login via the HomeAssistant App. Directly after manually adding the address and trying to connect, a Google screen shows up (it appears to be in the app itself) that the browser is not secure (error 403: disallowed useragent).

In the past after adding the address in the app, a Chrome-window popped up where I could enter my credentials for Google Authentication and HomeAssistant afterwards. If that was passed, the app opened again with my dashboards showing.

It worked before a full Chrome reset, so probably an Android Issue, but maybe a HomeAssistant-App issue?

What has been tried so far:

  • Uninstall and reinstall, also deleted all data of the respective apps:
    Chrome, HomeAssistant App, Android WebView

  • Unchecked “open supported links” in HomeAssistant App Android Settings Page

  • Restart phone

Mobile Phone: Samsung S21 Ultra OneUI 6.1 (Android 14)

Any ideas?

Thanks all
