Home Assistant app on old iOS devices?

It’s possible to make hass application for ipad compatible with long lived tokens ?

Older ipad can not display the login page (and the lovelace interface) but with long live token we could push sensors .

Thanks

I second this question.

This would be a verry verry nice app. I, in my sustainable me, want to use my old ipad as general display in the livingroom. My ipad 4 has ios 10.3.3 and the current app is not compatible. The last compatible ha app is not working. So, is it posible to create a simpel app to display some dashboards to control somethings of my home? Maybe a dedicated, less comples, dashboard. Switch lights, see status of devices. A view of the doorbell cammera is a nice to have :sunglasses: I am hopefull!

by the way. Browsers are not updated anymore and are also not working on my ipad with old ios!

I have an iPad running iOS 10.3.3. The Home Assistant app requires at least iOS 15, so that’s not going to work.

I jailbroke the iPad (there’s not much else I can do with it anyway, although it’s still in very good condition). I was looking for kiosk options, but only found full-screen options for Safari.

I thought I had it figured out, but is it correct that the Home Assistant web interface considers Safari too outdated? Maybe I could try something with a modified user agent.

My main question is whether anyone has managed to get Home Assistant working on an iPad with iOS 10.3.3 in any way?

Thanks!

Just a idea, is it posible to make some sort of haos client for old devices like old ipad’s? This way we can use old devices and are not depending on os from the manifactorer.
