Hey

I need public access to some files for an addon over the Cloud - How can I do that?

Audio clips must be publicly accessible. If serving files from your Home Assistant instance (e.g., from the /www/ config directory or via TTS integrations), the base URLs must be reachable from outside your network. This is easiest when using a Nabu Casa cloud URL.

Everything under “www” is accessible via a “/local/” url from everywhere your HA is reachable.

@koying is there a way to secure this folder?

It wouldn’t be very publicly accessible anymore if it was secured which would kinda default the whole purpose of it.
